"Full Metal"
The metal leaf lamination is achieved with the traditional layng with thin sheets of gold, silver or copper.
The processing of this technique make the surface completely covered in shiny and reflective metal.
This technique is not to mistake with chromium plating: the gold or silver surface is characterized by small imperfections and cracks that detect the combination of different metal sheets.
The use of metal foils in various sizes allows to obtain different textures, more or less rich in detail and facets.
Gold leaf versionThe gold lamination is generally realized through the use of various kinds of metal foil such as aluminum allois or mixed with different amounts of low carat gold. |
Silver leaf versionThe coverage of the surface is made with alluminium/silver leaf. |
